Tue...finally back to work

after 10 days of hols, i just have no mood to work after all... but today it is the day for me to go back and work...

i was extremely tired and had no energy for anything in relation to document reading or anything else...

hai... not in the mood for work!

My lunchtime was a total hustle and bustle. I rushed to bank to cash my check and went to HMV to get the DVD I ordered. Their service was really poor. I ordered that DVD on 3^rd Sept. And it took them nearly a month to get that DVD for me. God! Meanwhile I did quite a number of order with HK Record, they got me all the DVDs within a week! I would never ever make my order with HMV anymore. No only did they charge me with a higher price (nearly $20 per each DVD), their delay was pretty annoying after all. They just gave me no contact for the progress of my order. I had to keep phoning them and waiting on line for them to check my order. Come on, this is HK, not UK. How come their efficiency is so damn horrible?!

After work, I shopped around and tried to figure out what I should furbish my wardrobe with for the fall of 2007. I went to H&M but nothing seemed to be suitable for me with my gain of weight. Well I succeeded to lose some before YC’s wedding but shite that I put them all back with skipping 3 weeks of yoga classes. I look forward for the resume of my yoga next week while I will properly face horrible workload and stress with the release of the gorgeous Policy Address. In fact, I am looking forward to it since I would very much love to know what are the measures CE is going to introduce. By all means, it will affect our lives after all.

Then I went to 4 shoe stores and one find one suitable pair for my taste. But I think I might need to have a second thought for the purchase. The shoes only cost 600 sth. It is not too much for my purse. However, I am a big fan of high heels. And that pair is only fitted in with two-inch heels only. So beta have a deeper search before I made up my mind to buy that pair. In addition, it is in glossy deep purple colour with no special design at all. That colour seemed good to me but the design is over simple for my glamorous preference. And I tend to wear black stockings a lot during winter times, so it will tune down the colour of that shoes. Hai…

Then off to PP and waited TC to join me for the movie tonight. Before that I went to HK Record to make another round of my order. The staff there was really helpful! When I tried to make an order with Sarah Brightman’s CD singles, they can’t get it online. Rather than keeping me waiting, the staff asked me to leave my contacts and he would try his best to search for me. In addition, he promised me that he would contact me no matter he can or he cannot get any information for the singles I intended to order. I am really appreciated with their service! Such competence! What a great contrast with HMV! All I need to do was taking a tram to go there (from Central to PP, 2 dollars only!) and I will have such a high quality of service! Yeah! Definitely delightful! This is how we enjoy shopping! You know, I am not asking for service-for-her-majesty thing. Just competence and efficiency! In addition, for the very same DVD or CD, HK Record’s price is lower! (for Sarah Brightman’s CD “Fly” Japanese edition HMV is 255 while HK Record is only 215!!!! Shite, isn’t it!)

Then I went to ZARA and Mango for dresses again and dined with Triple-Os mushroom burger! That’s really great!

Finally, I met TC at around 9.15 for the movie at 9.40! Stardust! Well, the storyline is so-so only. The main actor (Charlie Cox) and actress (Claire Danes) were both too innocent for my taste, with awkward performance for the whole movie. However, I adored Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer)! She is stunningly cool and beautiful in the movie (she did a great job in the movie “Hairspray” too!) You know, after watching the whole movie! She has successful stolen all the scenes even though she acted as the villain of the story! (Just like my dear Alan Rickman!) In my heart, she is the main actress of this movie, rather than Claire Danes!

Back home, it was nearly 1am and showered and bedtime reading again! Great!
