Thirst is a stylish, terrifying and sometimes romantic vampire story which is much better than Twilight because of its messages, cinematography and twist.

The film delivers a message that every human has desires and is a sinner. It also tells us, without god's help, humans are still able to atone for their crimes.

The love story is indeed quite romantic. His willingness to give blood to her means LOVE. The dating scenes with black humor also suit this vampire love story.

The sex scenes successfully capture humans' innate desires. Besides, the ghostly scenes not only add much eeriness and terror to the story, but also display the characters' guilt. The mahjong scenes are also shot skillfully to show everyone's personality and interaction.

Although Old Boy is still the director's best work in my opinion, Thirst, with food for thought, dazzling images and a concoction of dark humor, romance, terror, sex, religion, family, gore and vampires, is undoubtedly worth our support!
