I have been wondering if the language I use to write my blogs will affect the number of visitors to my blogs here.

To be quite honest, typing in chinese is a right pain to me.  I don't mind writing in chinese at all, even though my chinese is only up to Form 5 level, but typing in chinese on a Japanese keyboard is just a lot of hassle.  I mean, typing in chinese is tough enough cos Chinese is by its nature not a language conducive to computer inputting method as the structure and looks of its characters bear no relation to its pronounciation.  But using a Japanese keyboard also means that all the punctuation symbols are in different places.

My very first blog was actually written in Japanese when I used to have a personal website in Japanese.  But I deleted the whole site when some men started mailing me about even the minute details in my pics which indicated a stalker potential to me.  Yep, basically he freaked me out.

I now have an English blog on myspace.  But my readers there are mainly foreigners, so I tend to write about deeper, more philosophical topics and some local topics that might be of interest to foreigners. 

I am wondering how many hits will I get with an English blog like this now on Yahoo Hong Kong... the mind boggles....
