Review my first tasting note, and compare to today. Well, they can not be compared, but the start are the same.....TO SHARE.

Bordeaux:
1. Chateau Pavie 2003 *** High intensity and comcentrate nose of sweet black cherry and vanlia, but not complex. Medium + bodied with firm tannic, medium level acidity, palate of blackberry and expresso, not attacking but existing, contcentration and a bit jammy, dry finishing. Not the soul of tradition St.Emilion, and I would say it is a fine, less alcohol South Australia Merlot/Carbernet in a blind tasting. Well, it's your cup of tea what if you are looking for a new worldize old world wine. Drink now but can keep.

2. Chateau Cheval Blanc 1986 *** and a half Medium intensity secondary aroma of black cherry and soy, the smell is fragment but not consisent to the other vintage's Cheval blanc. Medium bodied, lack of layers but balance. Medium intensity of olive, cherry with a bit leafy and leather, finishing with a hint bitter. I dare say this wine is turning its back to the Carbernet franc side from Merlot, we'll see. Suggest to keep.
3. Chateau Lafleur 1997 *** Well, it has a very textbook bouquet of Lafleur, medium intensity of kirsch and dried herb. But as many vintage 1997 Bordeaux wine does, it lacks a good structure and accpextable finishing. Drink now.
4. Chateau Montrose 2003 *** and a half -****? This wine is very masculine and dense, medium+ tannic level, like a sleeping baby. Should keep.
5. Chateau Latour 1989 ***and a half A Latour lack of vigor and complex in palate, but overal it is balance, with medium finishing. Mature, can keep but not for long term.
6. Chateau Lynch Bages 1990 ****-****and a half Medium + intensity nose of blackberry, graphite with a layer of cooper. Medim + -full bodied, medium + tannic level, medium acidity, very well balance with good structure. Blackberry and mushroom in palate. Medium + length. Perhaps the best Lynch Bages I have tasted. A bit young, you can drink it now but I rather prefer to wait.
7. Chateau Margaux 1986 Magnum ****and a half High intensity aroma of cherry, blackberry, intermixed with violet. Medium +bodied, medium chewy tannic level, good acidity, cherry and stawberry, long finishing with tobacco. This is a hot, sweet, full of vigor sexy Margaux lady. No doubt to understand that why Japan market love it so much. I am not feeling any boring to drink only this bottle for the whole night, love it.
Umm...the model of Shakira?

8. Chateau Larcis Ducasse 2005 Double magnum ** and a half-***? This wine is just too overdone as a right bank Bordeaux in my way. No wonder it maybe goes mellow with time, we'll see.
9. Chateau Tertre Roteboeuf 1990 **** Medium intensity aroma of raisin and tar, rich and alcoholic, but feeling it is closed. Full bodied, complex and rich palate, medium +tannic level. Medium + intensity of plum and stalk, spicy. Sadly I am not the owner and due to the time predominant, kicking me off on doing nothing to this bottle, this wine perhaps an excellant, but also an question. Now I prefer a bottle of 1985 or 1989.
Champagne:
1. Krug Collection 1985 ***and a half High intensity of honeysuckle, yeast, and melted butter of aroma. The palate shows the image of Krug, full bodied, but lacking of tension and complex, end with a lemon length. Actually it disappoints me of it's lower quality far from my impression from a tasting three months ago in hotel. Storage problem? Who knows.
2. Krug 1990 **** A pronounced nose of yeast, walnut and a hint of honey and zest lemon. Full bodied, good structure and refreshing acidity, medium + intensity lemon, biscuit and walnut in palate, touch of lime in finishing, quite long.
3. Cristal 1999 **** A very pronouced nose of lemon, green apple and oak. Very neutral and mineral, medium acidity, full bodied, steely palate. Lacking of vigor and tension compare to the 96's I tasted in previous tasting( http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/la-vie/article?mid=701). Long length with lemon.
Burgundy:

1. Les Beaux Monts, Vosne Romanee, Domaine Leroy, 2001****and a half
4156 bottles are produced, biodynamic is used, no filtration.
High intensity and expression ripe nose of rasberry, stawberry, even just a sip of wine in my glass! Medium +bodied, high acidity, vigor, well balance, ripe but fresh, can not feel any coarse on tannis, mostly red fruit in palate, very intense. Not much more you can expect on Les Beaux Monts. Wine lovers, salute to Madam Leroy! Salute to biodynamic!
2. Les Perrieres, Puligny-Montrachet, Etienne Sauzet, 1992 ****
Off at the beginning, but flowering after 3 hours breathing. Medium intensity of lime, grapefruit. The palate is elegant, polish and pure, with mineral. End with a nutty, lemon finishing. Good, I like it.

3. Batard Montrachet, Domaine Leflaive, 1996 ****? I believe there is no enough time breathing for this wine, thus I wont make any comment to avoid unfair.
4. Chevalier Montrachet, Domaine Leflaive, 1999 ****and a half? Same reason as above, but more elegant compare to the Barard Montrachet, worth higher mark.
5. Les Blanchots, Chablis, Francois Raveneau, 2001 **** Medium intensity aroma of lemon zest, buttery and lime, aromatic. Medium bodied, medium + acidity, silky texture and waxy palate, medium + intensity of lemon, lime and sun baked stone. Short length. However this is not a right wine for people look for a textbook Chabits.
6. Meursault Coche-Dury 2002 ***
7. Musigny, VV ,Comte George de Vogue, 1991 ****-****and a half
Medium + intensity aroma of blackberry, plum, smoky. Medium bodied, dense structure, smooth tannic, powerful and attractive palate, balck fruit and some pain grilled meat flavour, good acidity. Complete with a long spicy finishing. Perhaps now is too early to enjoy this great Musigny, should wait.

8. Chambertin, Domaine Ponsot, 1993 ****
A tiny yield production, only 495 bottles are produced in the year.
High intensity aroma of air-dried meat, herbal with some berry. Full bodied, rich texture, ripe and fruity, tannic is not rustic, with a hidden acidity. A massive wine that RP should like, but not my flavour.
9. Clos de la Roche, H. Lignier, 1999
A masculine pinot. Medium + intensity aroma of blackberry, leafy and interestingly stone on beach. Very elegant on the palate, good acidity, medium-medium + bodied, medium tannic level, still very tight. Should wait.
10. Clos de Beze, Chambertin, Armand Rousseau, 2000 ****and a half King of pinot on the night! High intensity aroma of blackfruit and mud. Smooth but dense, medium bodied, medium+ acidity, medium+ intensity of black fruit, cherry, ripe, long aftertaste. Unbeatable!

11. Clos du Chateau, Vosne Romanee, Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, 2002 ***and a half
Medium intensity aroma of redberry and cranberry. The palate is harmonious and silky texture, medium bodied with medium +acidity. It can be a great wine with ageing I realize, but not it is just a young young wine.
12. Clos des Ducs, Volnay, Marquis D’Angerville, 2002 half bottle *** and half Very complex aroma of red fruit, sweet nose. Medium bodied, lush in palate, high acidity, medium tannic level. Taste as a image of young chick to me but cute!

13. Bonnes Mares, George Roumier, 2004 ***+ Medium intensity of a stalky nose, moss and herbaceous. Medium bodied, disjointed palate, medium+ tannis level, the acidity is not obvious, leafy finish. The wine disappoint me most on the night.
14. Charmes Chambertin, TVV, J. Roty, 2002 ****
Vine planted since 1885, with limited production, a wine's price can compare to DRC's wine, legend.
Medium-medium+ nose of black fruit, leather, and bacon. Thick bodied, dense and concentrated structure, rustic tannic, balance and all together Expressive blackfruit and a touch of spice in palate. The finishing is so firm and long, wonderful. Perhaps too masculine to a pinot, but again, a legend.
15. Musigny, Mugnier,1996 *** and half Not as much as impressive as a musigny. No comment

Are you a chef or restaurant related personnel?
I am a part of an organization that hosts a prestigious trade show called Restaurant & Bar HK, catering to the needs of Food and Beverage management in HK, Macau, and Guangdong area. The exhibition is fast approaching in this September 1st to 3rd at Wanchai HKCEC. It has top quality suppliers and a great variety of educational programs like the Chef Masterclass, World of Wine tasting programme, HK International Beer Awards, etc.
Importantly, it offers inspirations for the food service business, whether independent, or chain restaurants, hotel, bar&clubs, and also an opportunity for business professionals to network. That is why I was to spread this information among the online blog community who are working in the F&B industry.
Please visit www.restaurantandbarhk.com. The admission charge is free and trade only. Thanks!

可惜我想飲的Henri Bonneau卻消失了...H.Lignier的確好正, and value for money. 而枝masseto 2002剛俾到我驚喜.
welcome to my blog!

Indeed, but I personally prefer the previous one.
And Luciano Sandrone Barolo Cannubi Boschis 1990 is not really Les Gouttes de Dieu, and not a real barolo in my opinion.
