大家都疼惜的Lottie

Lottie 來到南丫島動物保護組織，不經不過已一個月了。得到暫托家的關懷，Lottie  雖然還未能自行走動，牠還是開心地在成長。

Time do fly do.  Lottie has been with LAWC for over a month already.  Although Lottie still can't walk properly on her only, she is growing up so happily in the loving care of her foster home.

不但我們愛 Lottie，有多位朋友都對Lottie特別關注。首先是一位從此blog上得知Lottie情況的一位朋友。她把原來她為自己的狗兒親手做的一架輪椅送給了Lottie，還不辭路遠地把輪椅送來南丫島。雖然 Lottie 暫時未能合用，但這位朋友還是把輪椅留給了我們，以方便 Lottie 或有其他狗狗他日適用。這位朋友，感謝您！

Not only do we love Lottie, she has a lot of supporters too.  One of them is a friend who knows about Lottie's situation from this Blog.  She immediately donated a wheelchair that she customed made for her own dog.   Although Lottie is not ready for the wheelchair yet, our friend still left it with us just in case Lottie or another puppy may need it later.  Thank you so much!

Lottie 的問題不是在牠的後腿，而是在牠的腦部。牠的情況屬cerebellar hypoplasia。暫養家庭想給牠多點活動，但Lottie 快高長大，要抱牠外出真的不容易。幸好，我們有一位義工，最近從日本訂了一台狗狗車回來。這車的本意是為她家的大狗以備不時之需，但當牠知道Lottie用得著這車時，義工馬上把車送來借給Lottie用。實在太好了，有了這車，Lottie昨天去了沙灘，還進行了Lottie的第一個下水禮。Lottie暫養媽媽一直很想為Lottie安排去游泳作水療，看來真的不錯，Lottie 很喜歡游泳而且游得不錯呢。

Lottie is diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia.  The foster family wants to arrange as much training for her to coordinate her movement, but Lottie grows so quickly that its gets very difficult to carry her around.  Fortunately, one of our volunteers has just ordered a large doggie trolley from Japan.  On knowing that the trolley could help Lottie, she immediately loaned us this completely new trolley.  This is just too good.  With this trolley, foster mum was able to bring Lottie to the beach for the first time yesterday and Lottie had her first ever swim!  Lottie did very well in water and we believe that this type of water therapy is going to help her immensely.
