Day 3 in Quebec City, Canada, continues!(4)

The order of my pictures are all messed up so I bring you back to Grande Allee again where all the hotels, pubs, bars and restos are. Amongst all the sit down dinner places I saw McDonald's and even thier fast food chain franchise is so unique and endearing.

The final capture I had before we took the Ecolobus back to the Old City lower town for dinner. This is Manege militarie(Quebec City Armouries) on Wilfred Laurier. This is the back of the armouries, and the front facing the battelfields is absolutely breathtaking. Too bad we did not have time to cover les Plaines d'Abraham so I could not take a few photographs from the other side of the structure. Next time we go back to Quebec we have to spend more time in this part of town for sure. Darn it, 4 days was really not enough for Quebec City. I should have booked for one or two more nights hotel accomodation. Hotel rooms were no where to be found on the day we left, becaue it was a long weekend.

Got back to lower Quebec City town and already too late for getting a table for dinner, because the line up was already very long. We were told 40 to 45 minutes wait, but I expected one hour any way. So I walked down the stairs to Boul Champlain for a use of the public washroom there, and check this out! The washroom is unisex so men and women use the same washroom together with 5 toilets inside. It felt weird for me walking into a washroom with a female at first, but I guess it was all right. Like the toilet paper roll sign on the top left??? I think it is cute.

This is the resto located on du Petit Champlain, for which we waited for an hour to take a table in the patio you see in this picture.

A chubby musician playing accordion just a few steps from the restos so we just sat in the little park next to the resto and listened to him play his pieces. The atmosphere was so French with the tunes he played. I seriously love this type of semblance. Stay tuned for the description of our special dinner after the long wait.
