Saw this French Canadian girl performing at du Fort and Saint Anne. Yes, her make up was deliberately over done like a clown's, but she remained quite beautiful regardless in my eyes---somethng about her smile I suppose.

This is the sqaure in front of the Chateau Frontenac where Samuel de Champlain statue stands. Across the square is the Musee de Fort.

A close up of the statue of Samuel de Champlain. He was the founder of Quebec City in 1608. The king of France, Henry, named him the governor of New France, today's Quebec.

Some more details, but this one is for adults only, minors under 18 please turn away! : )

There are always acrobatic artists doing street performance in the square and you can see their apparatus and equipments sitting right beside the statue. I am not so much into circus types of performace though.

One more picture of the young and charming French Canadian girl who performed humorously on Saint Anne.

Notre-Dame-des-Victoires in the historic Basse-Ville (Lower Town) of Quebec City, which was completed in 1723, but it was started building in 1687. Not sure why it took them 36 years to complete this church

Why are all the Notre Dame catholic churches so gloriuosly stunning???

I usually do not like anything in gold colour, but when seen inside a church it is okay for me.

With a statue of tortured and dead Jesus lying in the box this side chapel still looked pulchritudinous to me.
