Exam

Exam was held in the morning. I went to the venue a bit early. My supervisor told me to sit at the corridor outside his office. I didn't know how come I didn't feel nervous, even didn't want to think what they would be asking me during the exam, just concentrated on reading the journal.

The exam began at 10:15am. Firstly I started my presentation related on my research. Although a bit nervous at the beginning, soon I didn't feel nervous anymore. However I believed I would have perform a bit better if my computer hadn't been damaged, since I could pratice a few more times before the exam.

Then the external and internal examiner started to ask me questions related on my studies. Actually I couldn't answer all of them, although a bit worry whether they would give me a pass on my exam, however I told myself not to think too much, just tried my best to answer the questions that I could answer.

After ~ 1.5 hours, the exam finished and I was asked to leave the room so they could discuss my performance. When they were discussing my performance, I didn't feel nervous but just continue to read the journal. After 5 mins they invited me to go back to the room again and told me that they gave me a pass on my exam. ie I got my MPhil degree. However they had given me some recommendations on my thesis and told me to modify my thesis within 12 weeks.

Met my mum at Cardiff Central Station after the exam. In the afternoon we went to do shopping at the city area. Mum tried to look for biscuits and chocolates for her friends and our relatives. We found chilli almond chocolate and pepper chocolate in a shop. I had never imagined that chilli and pepper can be put into the chocolate. Mum bought one box of chilli almond chocolate to my cousins since they like eating chilli.

Mum found that ther organic brown rice in here was a lot cheaper than HK, she almost wanted to buy one back to HK. Actually she had already bought 2 canned ham since the ham in here was cheaper, also she had bought a box of cereal because she tried this one during breakfast and she liked it. Next time maybe she needs to bring one more bag to UK so that she can buy more food back to HK.
