Yeah, Day 3 was the most important day to us. We woke up at 5:00 am and after breakfast at Tara Angkor Int'l Hotel, we went to Bayon, Baphoun & my fav. Angkor Wat.
First, we entered the South gate of Bayon.

As we arrived early, there were only a few tourists. So lucky.
The lineup on the right hand side is the contemporary military officials. So on the other side is the civil officials. It's majestic. : )

These relics are the world's culture heritage, so they are invaluable. See, some officials have no heads. Some have new heads (those who look especially white, like the 4th one in the pic). It's all becoz some people stole them and sold them overseas. One head can be sold for around 0.2 million HKD.

Having entered the gate, we looked backwards ....

Sigh, there're no more bats hanging over here.

Then, we moved on and saw the bas-relief carvings. It was amazing.

And i couldn't believe that there's a place like below inside this temple as if we'd been to Arcadia.

With the help of the Japanese, it's now much more easier to climb.

And i found sth. funny that the doors were always rectangular. I couldn't any dome-shaped or sth. else. May be it's Khmer style.

And this is the most famous site 'Khmer smile'...i love this smile. It's mild & nice : D

This man was drawing in front of the smile. What a great drawing... : )

On the way, we saw that there were still tons of rocks being sorted and arranged. Most were numbered.

It was dangerous to climb up to the top.

Then, we walked to the East gate via a long pillar-based bridge.

The Elephane Terrace. In the past, the king just sitted on the stage and watched the elephant. The one who won the combat would be chosen.

It was a splendor... I could really imagine how enormous the kingdom was ...

Next, another relics just located opposite to the Terrace. There were 12 towers and each one stand for one designate year(eg. the year of Rat)

Haha, there's a 'Pizza Tree'. It slopes gently.
