Alex was nice to offer me a ride home in his van.. thanks to him, i got to my gramas's place early! As usual, my family was the first to reach. It's the same every year. :)
Seeing that my cousins hadnt arrive, i drove back home, showered, lazed abit before setting off to grama's place again. (FYI, her place is just a bus stop away from my house) Someone thought i ran back home! HA! No i didnt although it was near.. i think taking the car is a better choice. :p
By the time i got there.. everyone started eating already.. (Every family would prepare a dish each) it seemed that there were many dishes that i couldnt eat. I dont eat DUCK, NO PRAWNS.. Erm.. the only food left was.. vermicelli with mushrooms, fishballs.. a few slices of roasted pork, basically the lower class food.. haha! they are the simplest yet nicest stuff! haha..
Everyone felt so lazy.. the big guys engaged in job related conversations. As for sis & bro.. yong.. hongyue and i were seen seated comfortably in the sofa.. watching tv.. haha.. We hadnt warm up yet la..
Held a short blackjack session soon after.. Only had one round of da game.. as.. i needa send my parents home.. and to lend a helping hand to carry those big pots and containers home. Thought i could head back to join the them but.. to my disappointment.. they discountinued the game as a few had got plans.. some were tired..
No plans on my side..
Had the urge to go out.. but couldnt tink of where to go.. was tired too.. might as well rest at home..
Felt down for a moment.. the thought of having to stay home alone for the next 2 whole days caused my mood to sink.. If only i could join?
I'm always the odd one one.. always missing out family trips.. Tell me this is what i chose.. I have to learn to get used to it. In fact i already do, long ago. Couldnt help to feel sad though..
