I very seldom 'fly people airplane'. You know this well, right? I'm very sorry that we can't meet for dinner tonight. I don't feel good to leave my mom alone at home. (My dad's out for hiking with friends and my sister won't be home until after nine.) After having her left eye cataract removed, she keeps saying that her eye is aching especially in a hot day when she's sweating. Probably it's due to the 'salt' in the sweat which makes her eye uncomfortable. She complained about the ache again this afternoon. So, I've to be a filial daughter.
Now my mom is like a baby girl who needs care and attention all the time. A spoiled girl in one word! That's why my maid's life has to go on. Until when? I guess until she turns back to be an adult. I don't mind doing grocery shopping and washing but I really hate cleaning. How can the dust fly into the house? Is there a way to stop it from coming in?
Let's find another time for dinner. This time, I'll give you a big treat. Tell me what kind of food you like and I'll book a nice restaurant for us to enjoy a superb meal. I mean it.
