Our trip to Dubrovnik (the first day)

The BA flight from Hong Kong to London was great because we got upgraded to Premium Economy. :) :) :) It was very comfortable and there was lots of leg room. When we got to London Heathrow, we took a coach to Gatwick Airport. By the time we arrived in Dubrovnik. It was around 1pm..  The weather was sunny but a bit cold.

The apartment was beautiful with an amazing view of the old town and Lokrum Island. I loved the decoration and the baclony but didn't like that they didn't give us enough toilet rolls. lol We had to ask for them. :-p

The little island is called Lokrum. 


We had breakfast on the balcony. It was really nice. I could sit there all day if the weather was sunny. :)

Our first meal in Dubrovnik was not bad. We had pasta at Toni's. My lasagna was quite yummy but honestly I could make a better one. hahahaha Hubby said so too but sadly... his dish wasn't very nice as it was too salty. Hmm..we also had some house wine which tasted OK.  After dinner, we had a little walk and took some night photos. Had an ice-cream and went back to the apartment.


Big Onofrio's Fountain is a 16-sided drinking fountain built by Onofrio de la Cava (1438 - 1444). The Fountain is part of the town's water supply system which Onofrio managed to create by bringing the water from the well in Rijeka Dubrovacka. The well is located 20 km from Big Onofrio's Fountain and this construction was a masterpiece of that time.

The water tasted pretty good and clean. :-)
