二月二十三日，一個特別的日子，「鄉師自然學校」成立後第一次派學期評估報告，回想以前的幾年為女兒取成績表，心裡總有很多期望、擔心，總希望女兒在成績上取得‘A’級成績，擔心成績稍遜，給別人比下去，今天則懷著輕鬆的心情。
接過評估報告，沒有優質靚紙，只用普通的A4紙打印出來；不是工廠生產、大批印刷，每份評估表的封面都有一張學生自己的照片，照片上的小朋友有開心的笑臉，照片取材自戶外學習時的片段，小朋友展現輕鬆、活潑、自我的表現，有的手執樹枝、有的倒掛樹上、有的手舞足蹈…份份不同。
打開第一頁有生活導師在過去多月來的觀察，詳盡描述學生的表現，看到女兒在人際關係有很大的改進，自我的認識有所改善，學習的態度也向好的方向發展。
我本來預算她在這樣寬鬆的學習環境沒有那麼快可自我掌握學習，但不要小看小朋友的求知心，她完全能掌握，成績也比我預期好得多。
女兒在這活潑的環境，經常和黑洞討論、交流天文知識，她以前總是提不起這方面的興趣，現在有這樣的空間及誘因，完全不用我再多費心神。
現在仍然有家長向我詢問，功課那麼少，擔心學習得不足夠，是否需要再另外買補充練習，叫小朋友做。
看我的女兒完全不用催迫，不用打壓，令她保有學習的心，她就會自己追求知識，正如肚餓，她就會要求吃東西一樣，這正正可告知親友不用擔心，「鄉師自然學校」的學生每天、每時、每刻都在學習，而且是全面的，不只限於學術上。

I think you need not worry about the language studies in school as they will learn them if they like. In my experiences, my boy at least now won't resist to learn them in the school.
I shall the 1st parents' day this Sunday for my boy's 1st assessment report. I am expecting to have a comprehensive report but only only in academic report.
I strongly believe that MAGIC will happen if they love the school life in Gaia.
Anyway, there will be a new student recruitment day early March. Come & see what the magic works in the Gaia School.
