This  story of battles and romance has been well-known in England for centuries: about King Arthur, his Queen and his knights, mainly Lancelot(an invented character).

This movie of war and love, based on the great novel of the same name(written by Leo Tolstoy), is about several nobles of Russia during the invasion of Napoleon.  It shows the cruelty of war and inquires the meaning of love.  If you are not French, perhaps you won't agree that Napoleon is a great man!
