李明博自傳: 經營未來

Who is 李明博(Lee Myung-bak)?   He is the president of South Korea(since 2008)...

  Lee was born(1941) into a very poor family, and he had to earn a living(worked as a hawker, 叫賣糕點、水果...) when he was still a child(YES!).  If you think that you(or your parents) are poor, you may change your thinking when you have read his autobiography...

  Though  Lee came second in his graduating class(junior high), his family could not afford him to study in high school, so he supported himself by  working as a cleaner in the daytime(清理垃圾, 賣苦力) and studied in a night school.  He came first in all of his 3 years of studies, and so he didn't have to pay any tuition fees.  Furthermore, he scored high grades in the university entrance examination, and was admitted to the faculty of business management of 高麗大學(one of the top universities in South Korea). In Year 3, he became an acting president of the Student Union, and was put into jail for 4 months for protesting against the Korean-Japanese talks. 

 1965: 畢業  進入現代集團(Hyundai)工作.  He worked 18 hours a day(YES!),

1977: 36歲,  promoted to the post of  CEO(just in 12 years' time), because, Lee said, the boss found that Lee could manage all " impossible missions ") .  The number of workers in Hyundai 由1965年27人升到19 92年16萬人...

1992:  resigned from Hyundai and became a member of parliament.

2002: elected as mayor of Seoul, and did a good job(Will the HK Government learn anything from him?)

December 2007: 當選總統. (similar to Taiwan's president Ma, first elected as mayor of the capital, then elected as president)

In 2007, 李明博個人資產為3800萬美元.  In 2008, it was said that he had donated 88% of his net worth for charity purpose.

  李明博創造了神話......
