spring dinner 4: finale

Finally the spring dinner is held successfully. I've gone through the trivial preparation works beforehand like negotiations with the restaurants, discussion about the rundown and the games, preparing the lucky draw names that cover the whole department... I've been assigned to be the decorator of the venue at first, later my task has changed to negotiate with the restaurant. Actually the venue has already been well decorated by the restaurant themselves, and we don't have to spare our times dealing with the stage set up and props setting.

Except for a few unhappy misunderstandings about the "missing" grand table prize that leads to a tiny quarrel between the staff and our workers, the atmosphere of the dinner night is warm and memorable. Besides the routine items like inviting department heads to sing and lucky draws, there are games to push up the spirits of the attendants. Though the game only takes about 10 minutes, it costs us lots of efforts to make it happen. So we should always appreciate the efforts of the person behind the curtain that make the show goes on smoothly.

This is a good experience to me and I think I would be willing to be the helper next year. And I really hope I can win any item of the lucky draw prizes in the coming events. I've never won anything for numerous years and I need my luck back!!
