妥協 Compromise

I didn't renew my Internet service at home two year ago so I've not browsing the net at home for the past two years. I'd even not used my computer at home for some while.

I used to bring the workload to my home and it made me feel like a workaholic, or a work slave; but the main reason for not renewing the contract was that if I found that if I keep spending so much time on my work and the Internet, the more isolated I would be from my parents.

Mr. Kam Nai Wai once joke about this with me provocatively: let's see how long you can insist.

I've to compromise with such 'princeple' now, at the same time, I still keep reminding myself not to be bound by my work and the Internet.
