Marley and me - John Grogan

Have learnt this book by chance and bought it immediately from the book store as labrador retriever is my dream dog. 

This book tells us a story about the life of a lab puppy, Marley, and how he becomes to be a companion of the family of John and Jenny.   He grows from a cute little puppy to a 97-pound big guy with behavioral problems.   He accompanies the couple to share the joy of first prenancy and to go through the sadness of miscarriage.   His love and loyalty are unconditional and truly remarkable.

It teaches me a lesson of how a dog owner should be.  He should be prepared, patient and most importantly, accept his dog's goods or bads without any hesitations.   I'm truly touched when John and Jenny are such good owners, though they hesitates during the days, that they not only understand but also try to teach this big big lab  and correct his behevioral problems especially his phobia during the stormy seasons.      I am sure many pet owners could take this as a lesson and there is no doubts that what we get back is unconditional love and joy that our pets bring us.
