Counties custom gaps

I am now studying oral 4^th at New Oriental School . The teacher is a foreign teacher from Canada who is a CBC. At the beginning, I signed up to take the course because the guy who teaches the class is so handsome! But now I know about the meaning of the course. The class has already lasted 2 days till now; I’ve learned plenty of the custom gaps between two countries. Maybe sometimes someone not does something to you whom you don’t think it is polite on propose or somebody really say smoothing in a rude way because of the discrimination. I am so confuse about that. I remember one of my experiences……

In the early day of the 2008, I traveled abroad with my friends and some teachers of New Oriental School . In the last day we stayed in the U.S. we were in New York , we went to 51^st street to go shopping. One of my friend and I was fans of high-heeled shoes, we went in a famous shoes shop collection. A black woman served us. I picked a pair of shoes and asked if the shoes have a sized 10. The women measured me with her eyes and didn’t answer me. Soon after, she threw me a shoe-box and left. At that time, I was wondering that if she has discrimination to Chinese. Then, when I wanna to pay for my shoes but I cannot find her so I found another sale who is a white girl. As soon as the lovely girl guided me to the cash desk, that black women finally shown up! She ran in the white girl away and said I was her client in a rude way. When I finished pay my bill, I still said thank you to her for polite but she just returned me a “er……hum”.

What’s the problem with the black lady?? But if I were the boss, I would not hire someone like the lady who would drive the guest away!!
