From every corner of America, tributes (noun - 致敬/哀悼) continue to pour in for the man who is known as the Lion of the Senate, the last surviving brother of the country's most storied (adj - 眾所周知/有名的) political family. Senator Edward Kennedy has died after a year-long struggle with brian cancer. He was 77. A passionate liberal (noun - 開朗者/自由派人士) Kennedy was one of the longest-serving and most influential senators in U.S. history. President Barack Obama calls him " the greatest of our time".
