Dopey - it's been 3 years

3 years ago today, I left for the Rainbow Bridge when I was almost 4 years old. It was a big blow to my parents whom I loved very, very much. So, as sick as I was, I had waited until a Saturday  so that they could be at my side when God's angels came to take me.

I know it still hurts my Mommy to think about that day as everything had happened so suddenly. Mommy called my Yee Yee & my godmother auntie MonMon.. she cried & cried... Rookie stayed at her side during those days, licking tears from her cheeks! Naughty Rookie later matured into a fine young stud and looked over Mommy (although he became more "serious" along the way, as if he were the man of the house!  )

So, after I left, my parents were in much grief, so was Rookie. I asked God to let me choose a another playmate for him, and I chose Tobey! She is so right for Rookie, the 2 had hit it off since day one! She's pretty too but of course, you can all tell who's the prettiest!

When I was sleepy, I'd go to sleep in Mama's spot with my friend Kit Kit:

Everyone said I looked "angry" in pictures.  Not true.. actually I simply don't like taking pics! (unlike the self-conceited, arrogant Rookie who thinks he's so handsome & loooooves to pose..)

Ooh.. what was that? Is it a fly??

OK, seriously Mommy, stop snapping away with your camera. I want to sleep now. This warm blanket Por Por got me is sooooo cozy..

My 1st encounter with Rookie. He had been kept in my parents' room for a week. Boy was he  noisy! He kept meow-ing to be let out of the room! And the little dude wasn't one bit scared of me! He actually hissed at me!

Later, we moved to a bigger apartment & the 4 of us had the best time here!

Something very good came out of my passing though. Now, my Mommy is dedicated to helping other kitties in need, kitties that don't have a home, especially those that are abused or hurt. She is now more aware of Rookie's, Tobey's & Pebbles' health; fussy about what they eat & drink... etc (to a point that they find her nagging!  ) Because I was sick with symptoms of F.I.P., Mommy now worries at the very 1st  sign of bad poo-poo! And Dr. David will be called to make sure all 3 kitties are ok. But Big Sis Dopey is now an angel who watches over them & the other meow-meows at SCH. But I still miss my parents, Rookie, Yee Yee & Por Por very much!!
