"ORIGINAL" - from Shakespeare, "SEVEN STAGES OF A MAN'S LIFE"
** seven ages of man: infant, school-boy, lover, soldier, justice, pantaloon, and second childhood, "sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything". It is one of Shakespeare's most frequently-quoted passages. (info : from english wikipedia -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_the_world's_a_stage)
me wrote some new variation in english at school and my teacher told our class to write a modern version of this presenting either 1) the masculinity of men or 2) the feminility of women
2) my poem base theme feminility of women
^ i know my poem might not be good as compare to other people but i am willing to share my views out : >
here it is (one of my favourite :)
Then a flapper
mind filled with desires and popularity
intense struggle of beauty, love and starring fame
seeking for attention
under the spotlight of the evening sun
I also got a second variation... (which is a bit sadder and might be offensive so i deeply apologize to ppl who feeled offended.) :(
Then a super-star
feeding on the glamour and glittering life on stage
dissolve away with her inner sickness
memories foam, coarse like pain pierce
she silently made way up to the stair-case of heaven.
