July 15th 2007 was a special night. It's a happy night with sadness.
This summer, one of the only jazz bar left in Hong Kong honored by all-star session, all the jazz stars in Hong Kong fairwell this jazz bar.
This is the very last gig in Blue Door, then it's closed due to "not many audience, too much rent".
I'm one of the jazz lovers to be blamed not supporting this place regularly, and it's too late now...

Everybody was there... Charlie Huntley, Eugene Pao, Ted Lo, Mike Curts, Ken Rose...

Davis....

Bass Hong...

Skip Moy...
Wow, our Idy Chan jammed on piano.... with all these Big Guys!!!
How proud I am being her bandmate...
I'll do it next time....
Lovely!
this is jazz....
one last time in Blue Door...

OMG, u're serious? Dang... u had my line... "It's too late now..."
Good 4 u as u were there... I've only been there trice...
But somehow, it wasn't an audience-friendly place since it could only take up about 6 to 8 tables, while those in the back almost couldn't listen... blocked by noise already...
Do u think Bohemian Lounge is good enough? Any other places to suggest for jazz lovers 2 hang out?
