I do like the qipao very much and I had a lot of compliments on it. Thanks for making such a gorgeous dress!
Holly
We first met Holly in late 2007 when she had her vacation in Hong Kong. Gown hunting was one of the very important tasks of that trip, I was told.
Holly finally picked a red qipao from us. Since she is young and sweet, I suggested using a light pink satin as the lining. It turned out to be such a sweet, cheerful and stunning gown. The picture was taken in Holly and David's wedding in Virginia, US, in August and shared with us via facebook (facebook again!!!).
It's indeed a very good idea to wear a red qipao if you are having an overseas wedding like Holly, or you do not wish to wear a Chinese gwa. Furthermore, qipao is not only good for 出門,but also for toasting or 送客. For those who tailor made a qipao for wedding, you can consider trimming it short after the wedding and make it a very special cocktail dress for parties and balls! Isn't it a good idea?
Our qipaos are all made locally by hands of our professional Shanghai tailors. That's also the reason why quite a number of brides love our qipao as our cutting can accommodate most types of body figures well. You need not be as tall and slim as models, you can still carry our qipaos very well!
May I take the chance to thank Holly's mom, Mrs. Lau, who has all the way been assisting us to communicate with Holly, finalizing the details of the gown, and finally, picked up the gown for her beloved sweet daughter, Holly.
Last but not least, congratulations to Holly and David. Enjoy the new life.
