Hongkong day3

ps/ finally i am back to blog on my hongkong trip. heh.

so after breakfast at i cant remember where. probably somewhere near our vicinity then we took the train to the last station. somewhere there.

cousin and wife.

disney train! my cousin even asked if i want to hop on to the ENTRANCE of disneyland. so that i can take pictures. but we wont be going in. i should have said yes... anyway for the fact that our train is moving so the picture is blur. but at least i managed to capture it. heh.

wanted to take the cable car but the queue was very long. so we took a cab up instead. you know, the travelling time to go up was like 20-30minutes.

here we are, the big buddha!

weird composition?

my cousin's wife and parents didnt follow us to the big buddha. so i became the person to pose for my cousin. i cant remember who ask me to take down my cap. dslr is awesome. really.

he took like 10shots of this. because my cousin didnt managed to do the focus.

lala. the cloud or mist kept hanging around the buddha when we're up there.

it rained terribly after we got down. thank god we managed to escape. fortunately my cousin knew something was amiss and asked me to follow him.

we waited for a very long time at the big buddha because two aunties went to eat vegetarian food. making the whole lot of us to wait for them. in between there were misunderstanding and they were on the verge of quarrelling. =/

next stop. Tai O.

we were waiting for his wife and parents to reach from the shopping mall which is beside the train station.

we walked for a very long distance to look for a restaurant to dine in. and the stupid us really walk one big round. this path will lead you in to the small houses that is infront of the mountain/hill. no doubt there was one resturant but we have to bring our own seafood to let them cook. dumb right.

finally walking one big round. we came to Tai O market. we shouldnt have followed the pathway. we should have walk the opposite direction. kuakua.

bbq shrimps, sotongs, fish.

we had our fill at one of the restaurant and finally managed to eat something something prawn. in cantonese they call it urine prawn? lol. aiya small little lobster.

i am shooting the front, my dad capturing the back. interesting huh.

after the market place, we went back to the jetty and wait for our boat to bring us back to the train station.

the boat ticket says that theres sightseeing for dolphins if we're lucky. too bad we're not. so nothing interesting. its a speedboat by the way.

back to the shopping mall and bought a lot of stuffs. all the authetic branded. hah. no pictures on the mall. too engrossed in shopping. shop till 9pm or so.

we went back to our hotel and put down our shopping bags.

then headed out for supper! around 1030pm or 11.

they said go eat porridge end up the porridge is teochew porridge. so is rice and soup. chehh. super full i should say.

thennnn we just kept walking to i also dont know where. and had dessert at the very famous stall. i also cannot remember whats the name. i knew i ate mango pomelo. wrong order because pomelo is eee. i was dozing off at the dessert shop. but they still went on to shop at baleno. finally we took a cab back to hotel till baleno close for business. yeah yeah.
