I went to Cebu in Mar 08, till now got the time to update my journal here. The reason I went there because I won $3000 cash coupons from Hong Tai Travel at the annual dinner. So I went with two friends for a resort holiday of 3 days. Very unfortunate, on my arrival at the resort, I had a diarrhoea, it was quite serious and I never had any stomach problem when I travel. On the first day, we just hang around at the resort, did some swimming at the pool and the private beach. And for me, of course also rushed to the toliet a few times... ..I was really worried this will go on for the next day because we planned to go for snorkling....

These are the food we had at the resort restaurant for lunch. We had Calamari, fried rice and barbecue pork and chicken. I suspected it was either the drinking water or the food which got me sick. But I had seafood the night before I came to Cebu, so it could be that too. It has teached me a lesson that I should always drink bottled water when I am in a foreign place and not to eat out prior to traveling.

Yes, actually it was a very peaceful place but people like us living in HK will get bored with it after 3 days...haha...actually I am going to upload some more for Day 2 & 3...but no time yet...thx for drop by!

Hello路人甲, I stayed at the Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel, I think this is only 4 star or less...haha, the hotel is not bad and also has a private beach. If you want to go island hopping, snorkling or diving, you can ask the hotel to arrange it for you. The room is also okay...going to Philippines can't really expect so much ga...oh, but I'd recommend you one thing, drink bottled water only (u may noticed I wrote that I got sick as soon as I got there). And also, the food from the hotel is only average. You can go to Shangri-La for buffet dinner at night, book a taxi thru the hotel.

Cebu is in the Philippines....Bohol is also near Cebu but my trip was too short I didn't go. I also went to Boracay years ago, still liked the place very much.

These are dried "Kyoho"(巨峰) grapes, HK$28/box, again got them from City Super. They do tastes like normal raisins but bigger in size. Sweet and chewy.... Info ...
