Loving my the ONE ~

Time is running out! Since there is not a lot of time left for me to blog all my wedding stuff before the BIG DAY… I will trying to be a busy blogger today…

I don't think I have ever introduced my 'the one' properly before… I have blogged my journey in finding it, headaches in fitting and altering it, seeing mum and dad's tear when they saw their little girl eventually wearing her 'the one'… Now I want to officially introduce my 'the one'!!

I couldn't get my hands off the gown the second I saw it in the shop. Tried a few more on but just kept going back to this particular one… As it was a 'sale day' when we visited the shop, I had to make a decision straight away in order to gain 50% off… I am never great at making my mind up under time pressure and it was really such a tough decision to make ~
1. I did not expect I could find my 'one' in that visit
2. The original price of the gown was way over our initial allowance, but than there was 50% off… (Still a little over but…)
3. The sale dress was in UK size 12 and I am two size down… would the 'big' alteration devastate the original Ian Stewart style??
4. It was only Nov 2008 and my wedding was over a year away… What if I find another one I love?!
5. I was travelling back to HK for a short trip and finding one in HK may be a lot cheaper!

Despite all the above, although I have never been a good and swift decision maker, I made my mind up within an hour and paid for the most expensive dress in my wardrobe so far!! Felt like I had just won a battle the moment I paid the gown in full by cash! (Had another £50 off by paying cash… LOL) Feel so much like a 'c lie' when looking back…

I am still so in love with my gown and have never regret on my decision! Does every girl experience this 'war like battle' when choosing their gown??
