Everything changed in one moment! Life is too fragile!

Life is short! This was what I always said when I was in university. Do I really understand what it means? I don't think so. I though this was just an excuse for me to be wild and tried out all those crazy ideas in university.

But life is not only short. It is just so unpredictable and fragile. And now I believe I understand and can feel what this really means.

A month ago we celebrated her brother's house warming and she greeted us with a cup of very nice tea, That was my first time to meet her. The memory was very vague. I just knew she is a catholic, a piano teacher, single, not smoking, not drinking... ... normal life!

The next moment I heard about her was yesterday and it was tumor burst, fainted, brain dead...No symptom, no trace, nothing. Everything changed in one moment! The moment she got fainted in the church, everything changed. And this is life! And this is the second times I heard about such kind of news in one month.

Sometimes I am very confused. I always get mad with my father because he enjoyed drinking sooooo much! He smokes! He has high blood pressure, high cholesterol... Of course I want him to be healthy, to enjoy his retirement life. But I cannot guarantee that quitting his drinking and smoking can have healthy long life! So, should I bother and stress myself or should I just let go??? Life is just too short to be bothered by things that have not happened!

Healthy aging, this is what I am going to study in my next semester. I think this comes to be more important than obesity prevention. Do you think so?
