Carcassonne (1)

I think Carcassonne is the most beautiful place in the southwest of France due to this La Cite, which i think the tour book describes it beautifully: "La Cite, a fortress that, once upon a time, fell off the page of a fairy tale and on the the bank of the Aube River...."

there are quite a number of shops selling fairy related souvenirs
