I agree! I do not like Koi too much either, and too expensive for the quality  (msg) and service (slow). The suckling pig was however pretty good.

Yeah, I think people like to go there because of the name. I think the quality is so-so.

OK la, but Toronto has much more choices and much better prices. One lunch there could be 3 lunches somewhere else in Toronto Besides, most Chinese restaurants use MSG / chicken powder, and so the tastes are almost universal to me.

Yes ah, it was the one in Daly City. I hate waiting in line also. Crazy. I rather eat somewhere else. Just my friend had never been there and so I rather took him there on a Monday rather than on the weekends. Even yesterday, we waited 20 minutes! Yes 灣區間間差唔多, food quality is about the same and Koi is so-so, just the presentation of the food is fancy enough to lure customers.
