 看旧的《康熙来了》，康永介绍当时新片Motorcycle Diaries。

故事描写Che Guevara年轻时在一次motorcycle road trip中

所看见的南美洲平民的苦难生活。

当时这部电影的时候，感觉上只是欣赏了很多南美洲美景，

应为电影其实没实际提到那次游走如何影响了他一生，

让他决定将一生奉献于革命，以之改善人民的生活。

今天突然领悟。。。

有些事情经历过了是不能置之不理。

Che虽然没有在旅程中找到革命的方法，

但没有了那次旅途就没有革命。

突然我也得到了这年半以来一直在心中存有的疑问：

学校不承认过去五年的疯狂游学，背包旅行真的没有用吗？

 （incidentally, 在星期六T的生日party上也发现

其他的transfer students，L和K, 心中也存有同样的疑问，怀疑。

惊讶的是他们现在比我刚到时还更angsty, 心不干，

L刚来也就算了，但K已经来了三年，为什么还想不通？）

有些路走过了就是你的，

没有人能质疑，没有人拿走。

同样地，现在的路如果不走好，

才真的是不值，对不起自己。

走好了，以后永远是你的。

虽然我没有从那次旅程中学会如何画图，

但经过了一些画面真是不能置之不理的，

有必要，有责任做些什么。

{Cambodia} a country with abundance of raw materials, especially timber, but remains one of the poorest in Southeast Asia due to earnings expatriation.

Free language school for all, set up by the monks. Did some volunteer teaching there.

Ironically in this country which produces timber, the people cannot afford timber timber planks for their houses and tables and chairs for the school. Bamboo house is the norm, a house built of timber planks is a luxury.

The kids ran out in the middle of the class in the wild all of a sudden. They came back with a few frogs, killed them by smashing the heads against the make shift table and then stoning. I was shocked, wondering what kind of child's play this is, only to find out that they have just disected the main meat ingredient for their dinner.

Ultimate packing: motorcycle on van.

By far the best road in Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia. Roads are usually untarred.

{Tibet}  A vulnerable culture at risk.

Pilgrimage from home- wherever it is- to Lhasa: 8 steps 1 bow with body flat all strectched out on the floor. The most important trip for a Tibetan. Easily takes a year and more one-way. Many didn't make it, but for those who made it, this life is already worhtwhile.
