Pollution

The Hong Kong old-style public building is disassembled one by one by the government soon. It makes many people who grow up in the public building have many good memories. The time transformation not only torn down but also reconstructs unceasingly. I discovered that the window design of Hong Kong old-style public building proportion writes the Xuan paper section paper which with the Chinese tradition the writing brush character uses (“3 by 3 grid”) very similar. Therefore, I create this painting which the old general meeting vanishes slowly. It tears down unceasingly; also, the reconstruction is precisely the pollution of the environment motion.

香港舊式的公屋即將被政府逐一拆卸，令不少在公屋長大的人十分懷念。時代的轉變令建築物不斷拆掉，又不斷重建，我發現香港舊式公屋的窗戶設計比例跟中國傳統寫毛筆字用的宣紙九宮格(“3 by 3 grid”)十分相似。於是我創作出這幅畫作，舊的總會慢慢消失… …不斷拆掉，又不斷重建正是污染環境的行動。
