        二次大戰期間，日本物質缺乏，流落民間的皇室點心師傅宮本，因為只會做點心，只好帶著兩個年輕學徒，在家鄉經營和果子鋪，販賣皇室獨有的和果子「嵐媽卡喜」勉強餬口。

        戰火無情，廣島遭到原子彈侵襲後，宮本老師傅跟著他的和果子鋪因此消失在無情的戰火中，這個皇室點心差點就失傳。還好其中一個學徒松坂剛好在台灣做和果子生意，日本投降回日本前將製作技術教授給年輕的台灣學徒顏水山，嵐媽卡喜才得以在台灣繼續傳承。

        水山師傅的女婿「阿海師」 表示，因為水山師傅三十年來秉持皇室祕法手工製作「嵐媽卡喜」（http://www.kashi.tw/order），不添加防腐劑，每日產量有限，但 吃過的人都終身難忘，前幾年還被日本餐飲界重金禮聘回去傳授製作秘訣，有興趣的網友可以上網嘗鮮。
