戰火無情,廣島遭到原子彈侵襲後,宮本老師傅跟著他的和果子鋪因此消失在無情的戰火中,這個皇室點心差點就失傳。還好其中一個學徒松坂剛好在台灣做和果子生意,日本投降回日本前將製作技術教授給年輕的台灣學徒顏水山,嵐媽卡喜才得以在台灣繼續傳承。
水山師傅的女婿「阿海師」 表示,因為水山師傅三十年來秉持皇室祕法手工製作「嵐媽卡喜」(http://www.kashi.tw/order),不添加防腐劑,每日產量有限,但 吃過的人都終身難忘,前幾年還被日本餐飲界重金禮聘回去傳授製作秘訣,有興趣的網友可以上網嘗鮮。
