      準媽媽的心路歷程 III The Real Beginning

      二零零九年八月二＋一日 (星期五)

      今天一大清早再接再勵

      竟然, 媽媽的金口一開後 (其實好明顯係先斬后奏)

      便得到了一個POSITIVE result!!

      在浴簷後的mr. cocoa bean 聽到我開櫃門

      便知道我又再test

      但我的反應很平靜, 一言不發

      mr. cocoa bean便懶醒, “又無啦! 如果唔係已經大叫咗啦”

      我繼續一言不發

      mr. cocoa bean洗澡後出來, 我便叫他自己睇

      然後

      他擁着我 (還未穿衣服), 哭起上來 (其實只是滴幾滴眼涙)

       

      而我, 繼續淡淡定定換衫上班去

      上班途中, 已發現.....

      自己揸車慢咗, 轉線無咁狼死

       

      回到公司後, 便第一時間至電給我的OBGNY

      怎料下星期的booking 都全滿

      唯一的opening 就是即日的12:15p.m.

      無辦法, 唯有放下工作 (only 2 hours)

      即去!

       

      “Congratulations! We’ll do a blood test for you”

      二話不說便針了我的左臂

      我在很confused 的情況下被抽了血, 然後離開

       

      Couples things that I learnt from this visit:

      1. 我的OBGNY 是不接生的, refer 了另外一位OB醫生
      2. 之前吃的魚生, 牛排 (just had yesterday), 成藥和麻醉.....都不用擔心太多
      3. 下星期一又由再抽血 (confused )

       

      回到公司後便research, research & research (其實是google, google & google)

      終於明白抽血的作用, 和為什麽下星期一又由再抽血

      原來是要驗HCG level- Human chorionic gonadotropin

       

      而餘下的"working hours", 我都在進行醫生/醫院research

       

      同日晚上, 剛巧是Lyla 的滿月慶祝

      結果

      我抱着Lyla 不放

        Because the first trimester is really really tiring! I could only sit in the couch, read book and watch TV, nothing else!

        You two are so blessed, coz only two months trial...wooo.....

        Tell you sth,

        u post a passgae before ure wedding from the US family planning association,

        about Y bussiness woman should have a baby earlier in order to have a better career prespective...

        I sent to one of my super woman fd, and she woke after reading it, and now have a 10 moths baby gal!!!

        is that also the same reason u have a baby so early?

        haha, hai ar, very lucky ar!!!

        I thought nobody pay attention to that article tim! I definitely agree what it says in the article. Most importantly for health reason, you would never regret to have a healthy baby (and healthy mother). Almost during every check up appointments, there's something/ possible issues explained by the doctor that was "resolved" easily by my age. The risk is a lot lower for any health complication with a younger mum When's your turn?? hehe
