新學期已過了一個多星期, 今屆的part-time PCLL只收了很少學生, 聽說是因為很多申請者都不能通過conversion exam, 所以便被學校拒諸門外. 上Lecture的時候, 全個lecture theatre有成百個位, 但是只疏疏落落地坐著我們的part-time同學. 
收生少, 對於學校來說, 同樣的資源, 郤投放在較少學生上, 雖未必致於蝕本經營, 但也說不上化算. 但對於我們學生來說, 平均每個人可以share得到多些資源, 郤是非常有著數.
上PCLL的課, 的確是挺辛苦的, 因上課時, lecturer會assume同學都已經學好各類法律內容, 而課堂內只會集中教實際法律工作的技能和操守. 而學這些技能時若不清楚相關的法律依據, 是沒法子做得好的. 故每次上課前都要花上好一些時間備課, 才能跟得上.
到上tutorial時, 我們被分成小組, 有好多interactive的classwork, 有時做exercise加discussion, 有時做role play, 同學輪流扮當事人和律師, 學點樣見當事人同比legal advice.
昨晚上tutorial時, tutor說我們組有個同學quit了, 小組的同學都說笑他是被誇張的課堂workload嚇跑了吧!
另外, 還聽說有一,兩個在另一組的都考慮退學. 唉~ 看來今屆的學生買少見少, 學校可能會有點頭痛...
昨晚放學返到屋企己經11點半, 雖還沒有吃晚飯, 但因太疲倦, 沖完涼, 沒吃什麼, 便'攤'上床, 不消3分穜, 已經瞓著了.

hi, really happy to read your blog. i can see an energtic person who keeps pursuing her dream. i also wanna study law and become a lawyer, turning a new page in my life. but so many problem i am facing. the biggest obstucle is that my job requires me to work in abnormal working hours. I dont know which school i can apply. further, i am 26 (old cake). it seems too old to get start a new studying...
so, hesitating. and finally, i see ur blog and i thought u r in the case quite similar to me. so, i think i will try to think about it deeper. thank you for inspiring me

Yes, HKU this year does not have PT year 1 PCLL students. 7X PT year 2 students are only their way struggling...
I'm a student of HKU FT PCLL. There are only 137 of us this year, comparing to last year, there were 288, far fewer... I love your blog, keep up!!!

ar...yes, i also heard about that...seems the start of CU's law school and the conversion exam have put cityu and hku into quite an embarssing and difficult position this year...

yes, possible... the additional places in CU may be a reason as well...
i think it is not really the case. i heard from a classmate that his friend passed the conversion and applied but got rejected.
anyway, keep on your hard work! good luck!
