A Vivid Dream

It was not a nightmare but a strange dream I had. I saw almost all my friends at the two high schools I attended in Hong Kong and in Canada.

In my weird dream, we all work at the same company sharing the same building and our offices station at different floor of the building. As I take the elevator down stairs, I meet Classmate A and as I go up taking the elevator, I am with Classmate B and C.

Classmate C, also my roommate at college, appeared that she didn’t know me or didn’t want to talk to me but focused very much talking to B about her new project in a foreign country.

Then C’s cousin came in. C claimed that she was her cousin but she looked exactly like 張曼玉 Maggie Cheung!

Maggie Cheung ignored C while C was trying very hard to talk her into helping in the new project.

We went straight up to the roof floor.

Maggie Cheung ran out of the elevator. C chased after her. I ran after them. Finally, Maggie Cheung agreed to help because of me.

Huh?

Maggie Cheung then said to B that she agreed to help because she was giving me “face”!

At the lunchroom with all my classmates there, the big boss announced that I was promoted.

“Let’s give a hand to WinWin, our new ELEVATOR MANAGER!!!”

I woke up sweating. It was such a vivid dream.
