watched this film during the Hong Kong International Film Festival last night. the scenes were captivating, and the acting was marvellous.
it tells a story of how women of 3 generations spent their lives in the desert, struggling to escape, and realizing the world comes back in a circle.

"sand."
a bit grey, but makes you think.
