...floating above the sky, the faeries, invisble to mortals, were holding the umbrella to shield themselves from the sun, and pondering on what trivial things people are doing with their feet on the ground...
an installation near the entrance to the Yokohama 2005 International Triennale of Contemporary Art. A very surreal scene that immediately caught my eyes. The exhibition was held in a "soko" (warehouse) located next to the harbour, facing opposite the Yokohama International Port, and has a selction of extremely inspiring work of arts.
