外贸英语在中国

The English standard of our overseas trade staff can vary significantly.  I have seen in my own eyes writings and emails which make horrible reading.  Those emails and promotional articles can only destroy the image of the company.  At the same time, it is a waste of company resources.

我们的国际贸易从业员的英语程度非常的參差，我看见很多不知所谓的文书电邮，惨不忍睹。那些电邮和业务推广文书只会破坏公司的形象，同时亦是浪费公司资源。

Although English is pretty popular now in China, there are still not enough people who run the administration of a business to pick out what's good English.  These operational staff are allowed to go their own way with broken English or Chinglish.

虽然英语在中国现在很普遍，但是还是没有足够的生意管理人员能分辨好英语。那麽那些操作人员便随意去使用烂英语或中式英语了。

English is a foreign language most of us know a little about.  If we look at other languages like German, Spanish or French, there will be even less chance to have someone to oversee quality.

英语是多数人有普遍的认识。如果我们拿德语、西班牙语和法语来看，那更加少人能监察质素了。

I do not know these under-qualified foreign language users have in their mind.  I for one will not pass myself as capable in an endeavor if I know I am not qualified for that.  It's one's consciousness at stake here.

我不知道这些基本上不合格的外语使用者有甚麽想法。我本人就不会明知自已不胜任的工作拿来做。这是个人的良知问题。
