新世界譯本:中英文版本有分歧嗎? (4)

5 Keep this mental attitude in YOU that was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. 7 No, but he emptied himself and took a slave’s form and came to be in the likeness of men. 8 More than that, when he found himself in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient as far as death, yes, death on a torture stake. 9 For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every [other] name, 10 so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground, 11 and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.  

和合本修訂版: 5 你們當以基督耶穌的心為心: 6 他本有上帝的形像, 卻不堅持自己與上帝同等, 7反倒虛己,取了奴僕的形像, 成為人的樣式; 既有人的樣子, 8 就謙卑自己, 存心順服, 以至於死, 且死在十字架上. 9 所以上帝把他升為至高, 又賜給他超乎萬名之上的名, 10使一切在天上的, 地上的, 和地底下的, 因耶穌的名, 眾膝都要跪下, 眾口都要宣認: 耶穌基督是主, 歸榮耀給父上帝.  [引用完]

總結: 9 For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every [other] name. 9 所以上帝將他提升到更高的地位,惠然賜給他凌駕其他一切名字的名字.

(1) 上述經文中的 "a superior position", 漢語版譯: "更高的地位", 更高是指--比較高, 是高於某些人, 不是最高, 可是"superior" 一字, 應該是指"最高", the most. 向人指出--超然的地位. 而和合修訂版, 就譯成:"升為至高", 清楚指出 "superior" 的意思. 新世界譯本的中英文版本出現歧義. 

(2) 賜給他凌駕其他一切名字的名字. 英文是 gave him the name that is above every name. 留意--英文版本的 other [其他] 這個詞語是在 [ ] 內, 表示希臘原文沒有 [other ] 一字, 只是新世界譯本的翻譯者, 認為加入 [other] 才能清楚表達經文的英文意思. 

腓立比書 2:9 希臘原文:　⁹διὸ καὶ ὁ θεὸς αὐτὸν ὑπερύψωσεν καὶ ἐχαρίσατο αὐτῷ τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ὑπὲρ πᾶν (一切) ὄνομα

音譯：dio kai ho theos auton hyper-upsosen kai echarisato auto to onoma to hyper pan (一切)  onoma.  

( τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ὑπὲρ πᾶν ὄνομα  to onoma to hyper pan onoma. 原文說--超乎一切名字的名) 其實, 在漢語版, 譯成 "其他一切" 這個詞組, 是英文 "every other" 的意思. 可是希臘文只是說 "every", 和合本修訂版, 就譯成: "超乎萬名之上的名." 

細看腓立比書 2: 9-11 經文中的 every name, every knee, every mouth, 希臘原文, 分別為  πᾶν ὄνομα, πᾶν γόνυ 及 πᾶσα γλῶσσα (pan onoma, pan gonu, pasa glossa) , 可以到 希臘文聖經網站 , 在 passage 點選 philippians, 書卷鄰的方格內輸入 '2',  表示章數:

在腓立比書2:9-11, 分別按下   πᾶν ὄνομα, πᾶν γόνυ 及 πᾶσα γλῶσσα, (當中的著色標示 pan 的希臘字) , 在原文聖經的版面 , 就會有 pop-up windows 彈出, 顯示如下: 

 πᾶς, a  {pas}
1) individually  1a) each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things,  everything  2) collectively  2a) some of all types 

無論你選上第9節的 pan, 第10節的 pan, 還是第11節的 pasa, 都是顯示同一個希臘文詞語及解釋.

 經文既是用了同一個希臘字的不同形式(語法格 case) , 意思完全一樣.  新世在every name 時, 就譯為 every [other] name, 而其後兩次, 就如常譯成 "every". 可是, 和合本修訂版, 3次都一致地譯: "萬名, 眾口, 眾膝". 這顯示甚麼呢?

 新世 (漢語版) , 雖然把英文版的意思, 譯了出來, 卻在翻譯的過程中, 因為顧及英文的文意 (其他一切), 而忽略或遺忘了譯出希臘原文的意思(即: 一切, 萬有) . 這就是新世界譯本(漢語版), 依賴英文版本, 進行轉譯的過程, 遺漏了希臘原文的信息. 也許, 這是漢語版出現的限制, 不足之處. 因此, 閱讀新世界譯本(漢語版) 的讀者, 最好參照一下英文版本, 對照出在轉譯的過程中, 因而漏譯的原文信息.
